Hello, long weekend breakfast! Inspired by the much-loved chocolate hazelnut spread, this JSHealth smoothie version is packed with fibre, healthy fats and protein. Medjool dates and avocado are fabulous additions to any smoothie to keep you feeling satisfied and energised throughout the day. We also love the crunch that hazelnuts add to the texture of this one - truly divine!
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 1 banana, fresh or frozen
- 2 Medjool dates, pitted
- ¼ avocado
- 1 tbsp cacao powder
- 1/3 cup hazelnuts, we used blanched hazelnuts
- ½ serve JSHealth Choc Brownie Protein + Probiotics
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch sea salt
- 1 cup almond milk, or milk of choice
Combine all of the ingredients in a high powdered blender. Blend until smooth.
Pour into a serving glass and serve immediately.
